…Colours, Inc. established in 1988, under the leadership of life long Nevadan, Leslie G. Parraguirre, has built-a solid reputation as one of Nevada’s finest and most prestigious interior design firms.
A graduate of the noted design school, The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) with a F.I.D.E.R. accredited degree (1979), Parraguirre worked nationally for several years, post grad, under the direction of Sue Firestone (SFA) before returning to her hometown of Las Vegas in the early 1980s.
Upon returning to Las Vegas, Parraguirre opened her first two firms in 1984, Design Associates and Swisher Hall Architecture. In 1988, Colours, Inc. was launched as a new interior design firm specializing in both luxury residential and professional atmospheres. Additionally, from 1997-2002, Parraguirre, in conjunction with partners Stephen and Bart Jones of Merlin Contracting & Developing, launched Et Al Studio located in the Park Towers Sales Facility (Las Vegas’ first luxury high rise condominium project) as an in-house design service exclusive to Park Towers’ buyers.
A strong partner in community affairs, Parraguirre participates on many boards such as the Andre Agassi Foundation Grand Slam Event Décor Chair, 1995-2003 and again in 2010; Western Folklife Center, Board of Trustees member, 2009-Present; National Charity League, member; Clark County Public Education Foundation, 12 years (retired 2009); Clark County Public Education Foundation Student Enrichment Grant Program, 1995-2006; and Summerlin Children’s Forum founding member (retired); and most recently Stillpoint Center for Spiritual Development Board member.
Leslie has always believed in “paying it forward” to her community by providing design services on a pro bono basis. Most recently, Colours provided a facelift to the 10,000 square feet Opportunity Village Thrift Store where Leslie continues to lend a hand on an as-needed basis; the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy; and over a seven year period, provided design services for the interiors and exteriors at the Child Haven Campus, just to name a few.
